The fallen masks at the woman’s feet symbolize abandoned identities and personas, part of a process of liberation and metamorphosis, where the faces of the fallen masks reveal the complexity of hidden or repressed identities. The woman stands completely naked, true, without defenses, and must face the challenges of the world without any protection.

Even the sun appears dimmed, its light weak, tarnished, and lifeless, reflecting the essence of the moment.
